LTE X2AP

LTE X2AP is the control plane protocol between eNodeBs on the X2 interface, it supports load management and handover coordination between eNodeBs. Trillium LTE X2AP is a complete implementation of the protocol layer as defined in the 3GPP TS 36.423 E-UTRA; X2 Application Protocol (X2AP) for the eNodeB network element. The LTE X2 protocol stack is illustrated in the following diagram with the LTE X2AP layer highlighted.
