eGTP
eGTP formulates the primary bearer plane protocol within the LTE and Evolved Packet Core (EPC) architecture. eGTP-c (i.e., GTPv2) provides support for tunnel management including handover procedures within and across LTE networks. eGTP-u provides data tunneling support in the LTE and EPC. Trillium eGTP-c is a complete implementation of the protocol layer as specified in 3GPP TS 29.274 Evolved GPRS Tunneling Protocol for Control Plane (eGTP-c). Trillium eGTP-u is a complete implementation of the protocol layer as specified in 3GPP TS 29.281 Evolved GPRS Tunneling Protocol for User Plane (eGTP-u).
Trillium LTE eGTP software enables Network Equipment Providers of eNodeBs, MMEs, Serving GWs, PDN GWs, ePDG, and so on to:
