Trillium fault-tolerant protocol software includes control and data plane protocols which are essential for providing reliable communication both within the Continuous Computing FlexTCA system and externally to other network devices.
At the core of the system, Trillium SAF-compliant HA middleware helps developers of highly reliable systems build carrier-grade applications by supplying the most comprehensive, proven, and integrated availability management software. The HA middleware provides the framework to detect faults and manage failover to ensure continuity of service.
Trillium platform management services simplify the management of the hardware platform and provides a mechanism for low-level management prior to the initialization of Trillium HA middleware or application. Trillium HA switching software delivers the underlying mechanisms to ensure that continual service can be provided in the event of a link or switch failure. It specifically monitors and manages drivers and switching for the base and fabric interfaces, as well as provides for a low-latency failover when a fault is detected.
