Continuous Computing has exceeded blade- and chassis-level building blocks to create a true value proposition: the 1GbE Bladed Compute System. This CompactPCI (cPCI) offering reduces platform development and system test time, resulting in accelerated time-to-market and reduced project risk.
The 1GbE Bladed Compute System is engineered to deliver true Gigabit performance with added flexibility and cost efficiencies that telecom equipment manufacturers require for successful deployment in Next-Generation Networks (NGN).
The 1GbE Bladed Compute System consists of redundant gigabit switching with up to 38 Core 2 Duo (dual core) compute nodes in the industry-leading Flex21 cPCI chassis. In addition to exceptional computing resources, the Flex21 shelf can also provide over 1.5Terabytes of storage and a wide range of payload and signaling line cards.
Configurable to suit specific deployment requirements, the 1GbE Bladed Compute System is delivered as a fully-integrated and rigorously-tested unit. The platform can be packaged with a wide range of Trillium protocol software including SIP, Diameter, SIGTRAN, and MEGACO / H.248. Trillium Professional Services and training are also available to accelerate deployment, support internal development teams, and reduce project risk and complexity. Typical applications include wireless infrastructure, wireline data, packetized voice, and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) infrastructure.
