Trillium | Mobile Application Part (MAP) - IS-41
Description
The Mobile Application Part - IS-41 (MAP - IS-41) portable software product provides the functions and procedures to query various databases or support other components in the intelligent network (e.g., VLR, HLR, MSC, AC, SME). The MAP - IS-41 software supports the IS-41 Rev C and Rev D variant of the protocol. MAP - IS-41 software supports prepaid charging services and wireless number portability services.
The MAP - IS-41 software provides the capabilities for:
- Dialogue and operation handling
- Remote operation invocation procedures
- ASN.1 encoding/decoding of all the dialogue and operation parameters
- Error detection and recovery
- Procedures for unrecognized message and parameter handling
Trillium MAP - IS-41 software enables telecom equipment manufacturers of soft switches, signaling gateways, signal transfer points, service control points, media gateway controllers or other products to:
- Accelerate time to market
- Reduce development costs
- Reduce project risk of internally developed MAP - IS-41 applications
Product deliverables consist of C source software, documentation, training, a warranty and technical support.
