The FlexCompute ATCA-XE40 offers both flexibility and outstanding performance which enables the scalable applications of next-generation telecommunications markets. The XE40 is the ideal high performance ATCA compute blade optimized for telecom equipment manufacturers seeking superior Intel-based processing power. The XE40 provides flexibility and throughput designed to ensure successful deployment of high-performance carrier-grade wireless and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) applications and services.

The XE40 is designed as a modular processor blade with support for both single and dual processor configurations. It supports up to 16GB of memory, two AdvancedMC (AMC) slots and multiple storage options. Additional connectivity options via the Rear Transition Module (RTM) and AMC slots allow the XE40 to be tailored to exact needs. Engineered for carrier-class performance, the PICMG compliant XE40 is built on industry standards to ensure easy integration and management for faster time-to-market.

Coupled with Continuous Computing's FlexTCA Systems, optimized Trillium control and data plane protocol software, and integrated professional services, the XE40 provides the fastest path from application development to deployment revenue. From IPTV to Wireless Core Networks, the XE40 is the blade of choice for deploying a wide range of high-performance, scalable telecom applications.
