FlexCore ATCA-FM30-SX
- Integrated Base / Fabric Switching and Management Solution
- Consolidates Common Switch, Management, and Clocking Functions
Targeting the scalable application needs of next generation telecommunications markets, FlexCore ATCA-FM30-SX delivers robust, cost-effective base / fabric switching functions common to most telecom applications. FM30-SX delivers redundancy in base / fabric switching and switch management and allows for successful deployments of high-performance, carrier-grade wireless, and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) applications ranging from Session Border Controllers to IMS Security Gateways.
Engineered for carrier-class performance, PICMG 3.1 compliant FM30-SX offers single base interface and dual fabric interface Gigabit Ethernet switching for up to 14-slot and 16-slot ATCA systems. A separate 440GX PowerPC processor runs switch management, Layer 2 switching, and optional Layer 3 routing software. In addition, this switch blade can be configured with scalable, balanced 1GbE and 10GbE uplinks to meet surges in network traffic.
Designed to consolidate common switching, management, and clocking functions for telecom applications, industry-standard FM30-SX ensures easy integration and flexible management interfaces.
Coupled with Continuous Computing's FlexTCA Systems, optimized Trillium control and data plane protocol software, and integrated professional services, the FM30-SX provides the fastest path from application development to deployment revenue. From IPTV to Wireless Core Networks, the FM30-SX is the blade of choice for deploying a wide range of high-performance, scalable telecom applications.
