WHO:

Continuous Computing, the global provider of integrated platform solutions that address the mobile broadband capacity challenge, and HCL Technologies will be conducting two webinars entitled “Value Added Services (VAS) 2.0 with LTE” on Tuesday, July 20 and again on Tuesday, July 27.

Nitin Tomar, product line manager at Continuous Computing, and Deepak Kataria, practice director at HCL Technologies, will host the webinars focusing on the VAS market and how it relates to Long Term Evolution (LTE), exploring ways to prepare for the network challenges of today and tomorrow.

WHAT:

These webinars will feature dialogue on how to safely transition to the LTE network, maintain service transparency once LTE arrives and examine if current networks are ready for VAS 2.0.

Discussions will include mobile broadband access provided by LTE and how LTE will allow delivery of a rich set of VAS 2.0. This technology offers service providers an opportunity to leverage network assets in order to become key players in the VAS 2.0 value chain. The webinars will also cover topics such as LTE requirements to coexist with 3G, HSPA, HSPA+ and the importance of backward compatibility in these scenarios.

WHEN:

The live webinars will take place at the following times:

  • Tuesday, July 20, 2010: 8 a.m. PDT / 11 a.m. EDT / 4 p.m. GMT / 8:30 p.m. IST
