Accelerates product development and time-to-market of value-added, pre-integrated solutions for DPI and LTE networks

SAN DIEGO – November 10, 2008 - Continuous Computing, the only company deploying uniquely architected systems comprised of telecom platforms and Trillium software, today announced embeddedMIND as the newest member of the Continuous Computing Network, a collaborative program which allows the company and its partners to offer more comprehensive, integrated products and services to improve time-to-market, cost savings, and performance for network equipment providers. Continuous Computing’s addition of embeddedMIND, a division of Silicon and Software Systems (S3), provides network equipment providers with software components and development tools in a unified approach for their network device management requirements such as CLI, SNMP, Web/XML, and Netconf. This relationship underscores both companies’ commitment to providing their customers with more feature-rich, pre-integrated hardware and software for the Long Term Evolution (LTE) and Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) markets.

As a result of the company’s recent acquisition of Embedded Solution Partners, a value-added provider of best-in-class embedded software products and services, Continuous Computing has expanded upon the relationship with embeddedMIND to form this new alliance. Together the two companies have identified ways to more tightly integrate embeddedMIND’s solutions into Continuous Computing’s products, such as Trillium software protocols and the FlexTCA family of fully-integrated systems for LTE, DPI / Security, and Wireless Core applications. Close collaboration between Continuous Computing and embeddedMIND will enable network equipment providers to cost-effectively accelerate their time-to-market and focus on application-specific, value-added differentiation.

“By teaming up with embeddedMIND we continue to expand our Network with partners who provide complementary products and help differentiate our offerings to the benefit of our respective customers,” said Jim Ritchie, senior vice president of corporate development at Continuous Computing. “embeddedMIND provides essential management technologies that augment our solutions and support our promise of delivering reduced time-to-market.”

Continuous Computing first announced its revamped Network partner program in June, with the addition of new members Intel, RMI, 6WIND, AMCC, Fulcrum, GoAhead, and picoChip.

“Joining the Continuous Computing Network presents us with new business opportunities and enables us to expand our market reach,” said David French, vice president of product management at embeddedMIND. “This alliance allows us to more tightly integrate with marketing-leading solutions such as the fully-integrated FlexTCA System, as well as provide a high level of value-add for our customers.”
