Industry Veteran to Lead the Company through its Next Wave of Growth

SAN DIEGO – January 9, 2007 – Continuous Computing Corporation, global provider of integrated systems and services that enable telecom equipment manufacturers to rapidly deploy Next Generation Networks (NGN), today announced the appointment of Mike Dagenais as chief executive officer and board member. This appointment prepares Continuous Computing for the next stage of growth as the company expands its comprehensive package of hardware, software, and professional service solutions.

Mr. Dagenais brings over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry to his position with Continuous Computing, including prior executive and management positions at Convergent Networks, Lucent, and Nortel. Most recently, Mr. Dagenais served as chief executive officer and president of Optical Solutions, Inc., where he led the successful acquisition of Optical Solutions by Calix Networks, a large telecom equipment supplier focused on access solutions for broadband service delivery.

In a related announcement, Continuous Computing indicated that Ken Sawyer has also joined its board of directors. Mr. Sawyer, a founding partner of Saints Capital, brings noted expertise and several years of experience in financial and strategic transactions including mergers & acquisitions, private placements, and initial public offerings. Mr. Sawyer currently has board affiliations with HK Systems, Cleargauge, Mirapoint, and Sidestep.
