Trillium Announces New Quick!Start Program to Accelerate Implementation of Advanced Communications Software Solutions
Enhanced Customer Support Reduces Time-to-Market for the Deployment of Next-Generation Network Elements
LOS ANGELES - May 22, 2000 - Trillium Digital Systems, Inc., the leading provider of communications software solutions, announced its new Quick!Start program which offers its customers the opportunity to engage a specialized team of Trillium engineers for initial on-site consultations to facilitate the integration of Trillium's industry-leading communications software solutions into customers' products. By addressing customers' unique product and services requirements right from the start, Trillium's Quick!Start program accelerates the deployment of next-generation communications network equipment by reducing the development time for network products that enable new Internet, broadband, wireless and telephony applications and services.
"Trillium is committed to making product development easier for our customers. Our customers have confirmed that Trillium's Quick!Start program offers an easy and effective solution to address the significant time-to-market constraints that they face," said Dave O'Brien, vice president - Customer Support & Quality. "Our new customers, in particular, are responding to increased market demand for quick deployment of VoIP-enabled services and other applications based on the rapid convergence of various communications network infrastructures. Trillium's Quick!Start program allows our customers to concentrate their resources on the value-added features of their products, rather than expending extra time and resources addressing issues related to the integration of communications protocol software."
"Vsys realized significant time-to-market benefits by using Trillium's Quick!Start program to accelerate the integration of Trillium's IP telephony software into our softswitch product and hosting center," said Bob Wise, vice president of development and chief architect for Vsys. "In a matter of a few days, Trillium was able to provide us with architectural consulting and training regarding the most effective methodology for implementing their industry-leading communications protocol stacks. As a result, we were able to quickly integrate a leading IP telephony software solution and focus our time and energy on the resource management and call control layers."
By installing the licensed programs into the customers' development environment, organizing directory structures, creating and modifying makefiles, adapting compile-time options to customer development environments, providing training on functionality, addressing questions related to product architecture and configuring system parameters, for example, Trillium's Quick!Start program engineers give the customer a leap ahead on their product development. For customers interested in applying Trillium's communications software services expertise throughout their product development cycle, Trillium's Quick!Start program can be augmented with additional integration, customization and consulting services offered by Trillium's professional services organization.
