TruePosition Leverages Trillium Professional Services from Continuous Computing to Support Wireless Location Needs of Global Marketplace

Superior Engineering Resources Result in Another Customer Success for Continuous Computing

SAN DIEGO & BERWYN, PA – July 31, 2007 –Continuous Computing , global provider of integrated systems and services that enable telecom equipment manufacturers to rapidly deploy Next Generation Networks (NGN), today announced that TruePosition, Inc., a leading provider of wireless location technologies and solutions, has selected Continuous Computing's Trillium Professional Services to provide engineering expertise in a major code revision project. Supporting TruePosition in the optimization of Trillium SS7 and SIGTRAN software stacks and architecture, Continuous Computing provided key assistance and expertise with code base alignment, custom software training, and technology implementation.

TruePosition originally licensed and incorporated Trillium protocol software from Continuous Computing in 2003 and teamed again with Continuous Computing in order to upgrade its code base with additional Trillium products, thereby leveraging the benefits of the Trillium advanced software features and deriving greater code stability. Continuous Computing's Trillium Professional Services team worked hand-in-hand with TruePosition on code base alignment, stack manager implementation, and optimization of high-availability software architecture. The Trillium team also provided custom technology training on the field-proven and widely deployed Trillium SS7 and SIGTRAN stacks.

“We are very pleased with the outcome of our collaboration with TruePosition and are looking forward to extending the relationship to help bring high-value, location-based services to market,” said Mike Dagenais, chief executive officer of Continuous Computing. “Our work with TruePosition is an example of the versatility and expertise of the Trillium Professional Services team and demonstrates the many ways we can help our customers with their diverse and unique needs.”

In developing and implementing wireless location products and services, TruePosition offers wireless network providers and enterprises complete wireless location solutions. For wireless operators, TruePosition offers a number of consumer-oriented services such as navigation, local search, social networking, and traffic information. For enterprises, TruePosition provides services like asset tracking and workforce management. In addition, TruePosition delivers safety and security services, like E-911, allowing wireless operators to locate people who dial 911 on the mobile phone.

“We chose Trillium Professional Services because of the team's proven expertise in protocol stacks, general software design, and systems architecture for telecommunications equipment,” said Homaira Akbari, executive vice president of operations at TruePosition. “Through our work with Continuous Computing and the direct interaction with the company's engineering team, our implementation and operational performance has improved, allowing us to field solutions in a more rapid fashion.”

The successful completion of this project for TruePosition is another proof-point of Continuous Computing's ability to provide vital solutions and services to telecom equipment manufacturers (TEMs). By offering an integrated solution of AdvancedTCA or CompactPCI hardware, Trillium protocol software, and Trillium Professional Services, Continuous Computing enables accelerated deployment and reduced project risk while providing a seamless migration path for equipment vendors transitioning from existing to next generation networks.
