On Tuesday, June 19, Continuous Computing plans to introduce a new ATCA-based packet processing system for multi-service Internet Protocol (IP) networks. In a separate announcement, the company will discuss a new collaboration with IBM that will accelerate the delivery of advanced packet processing solutions for TEMs using IBM's BladeCenter. The company's executives will be available to speak about industry trends and Continuous Computing's product portfolio of hardware, software and professional services for the next-generation telecommunications industry.
Additionally, Continuous Computing's Manish Singh, vice president of field engineering, will participate in a panel with other industry experts titled, “Using IMS to Deliver IP Video across Converged Networks” and hosted by Telecommunications Magazine. The panel will take place Wednesday, June 20 at 3:00 pm CDT at the IP Video Village Theater.
Continuous Computing's upcoming announcements demonstrate its dedication to the development of solutions that address bandwidth management, scalability and security issues surrounding the rollout of IPTV, peer-to-peer networking and other bandwidth-intensive applications. Continuous Computing's customer base consists of many of the leading TEMs, and therefore, the company is in a unique position to understand the challenges and technology limitations operators face when rolling out NGNs.
