Continuous Computing Wins Industry Awards and Improves List Rankings

Recognition for Product Innovation, Marketing Leadership, and Rapid Growth

SAN DIEGO - OCTOBER 31, 2006 - Continuous Computing, global provider of integrated systems and services that enable telecom equipment manufacturers to rapidly deploy Next-Generation Networks (NGN), recently received accolades from organizations including AeA (formerly the American Electronics Association), Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Deloitte & Touche, and the San Diego Business Journal as a result of the company's innovations in product development, advancements in marketing communications, and rapid growth in the telecommunications industry. This news follows Continuous Computing's June receipt of an emerging markets award from the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) and signifies the company's ongoing recognition by San Diego business organizations.

"We are honored to be recognized by AeA, PRSA, Deloitte, and the San Diego Business Journal for the strides that Continuous Computing has made in telecom and the San Diego community ," said Ron Pyles, Continuous Computing's president. " Our dedication to providing the best total package of hardware, software, and professional services is what drives us to excel."

Continuous Computing received an award in the category of Computers and Related Products from AeA at their 13 th annual awards event. The company was honored for its submission on FlexCore ATCA-FM30, a highly optimized ATCA blade that allows telecom equipment manufacturers to develop cost-competitive 3G wireless network elements by combining multiple functions such as RNC, SGSN, and GGSN in a single chassis. As a result, FlexCore helps customers save money and free up slots for revenue-producing payload blades.

"Continuous Computing made a great impact with the introduction of FlexCore and we were pleased to recognize the company for their success," said Kevin Carroll, executive director for AeA. "Our organization honors only the very best San Diego tech companies who demonstrate innovative product leadership. Continuous Computing did just that."

In addition to receiving acknowledgement for its telecom products, Continuous Computing's marketing communications efforts were also honored by the San Diego chapter of PRSA. The company received a Bernays Silver Award of Excellence, the highest mark of distinction, in the Multicultural Public Relations category for its campaign to successfully create awareness of Continuous Computing in China. The feat was achieved through the translation of Continuous Computing's web site, identification and attendance of targeted trade shows and events, and development of localized marketing collateral.

Continuous Computing also secured a Bernays Bronze Award of Excellence in the category of Interactive Communications - E-zines/Newsletters/Other Digital Mediums for their electronic HTML newsletter called HigherAvailability.com. The newsletter, published four to six times a year and available at www.higheravailability.com , is used to distribute news, events, and product announcements for the company and is sent to current and prospective customers, partner companies, investors, and fellow organizations within the telecommunications industry.

As Continuous Computing's awareness grew through effective marketing communications campaigns including those recognized by PRSA, the company itself also experienced rapid revenue growth and celebrated improvements in rankings from Deloitte & Touche and the San Diego Business Journal. With a growth rate of 248 percent over the past five years, Continuous Computing secured a spot in the top 20 as number 17 on the 2006 San Diego Deloitte Technology Fast 50, an improvement of 12 slots over last year's ranking of 29. Continuous Computing also secured a top 20 slot in the 2006 San Diego Business Journal's Fast 100, placing as number 16 amongst other privately held companies.
