Continuous Computing Announces Executive Promotions
Strong Executive Leadership Further Positions Company to Provide Best Total Solution for Customers' Platform-level Telecom Infrastructure Needs
SAN DIEGO - JULY 10, 2006 - Continuous Computing Corporation, global provider of Network Service-Ready Platforms that enable telecom equipment manufacturers to rapidly deploy converged communications, today announced two senior-level promotions. Ron Pyles has been appointed to executive vice president of sales and marketing, while Garrett Choi is now executive vice president of engineering and operations.
In addition to leading the global sales team, Ron Pyles will now lead product management, customer program management, business development, and marketing communications for Continuous Computing. Pyles joined the company in 2003 as vice president of worldwide sales, bringing more than 20 years of marketing and sales experience at AT&T where he was vice president for business sales for the central United States region. Pyles also directed the worldwide sales organization for the Trillium product line while at Intel Corporation.
Garrett Choi will now oversee hardware and software engineering, operations, manufacturing and internal program management. Choi joined Continuous Computing in 2004 and has been serving as general manager of the Trillium business unit. Formerly, Choi held executive-level positions at a variety of Silicon Valley start-up companies, as well as management and technical leadership positions at Hughes, Lockheed-Martin, and Rockwell, bringing more than 15 years of engineering, systems integration, and new business experience to the Continuous Computing team.
