Continuous Computing Partners with RadioFrame Networks
Wireless Infrastructure Vendor to Use Trillium Software in Development of Innovative Products
GLOBALCOMM (CHICAGO) AND SAN DIEGO - JUNE 5, 2006 - Continuous Computing Corporation, a global provider of Network Service-Ready Platforms that enable telecom equipment manufacturers to rapidly deploy converged communications, today announced a partnership with RadioFrame Networks to develop wireless infrastructure for next-generation technologies using Continuous Computing's Trillium protocol software.
The two companies are working together to develop innovative products and technologies that benefit telecom equipment manufacturers' (TEMs) intent to provide feature-rich and cost-effective products in the highly competitive telecommunications marketplace.
"Our work with Continuous Computing and the Trillium team has enhanced our capabilities in an important area of our development," said Greg Veintimilla, vice president of engineering for RadioFrame Networks. "We believe this partnership will be yet another element that helps RadioFrame Networks extend our exciting next generation of products into the marketplace more quickly."
Continuous Computing's integrated Trillium Protocol Software solutions include source code, binaries, and professional services and serve as a "turn-key" solution for TEMs. As a result, Continuous Computing provides a complete package of products and services to build "100% IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS)" components or transition existing network elements to include IMS capabilities. RadioFrame Networks will utilize Continuous Computing's breadth of expertise in Trillium protocol software to augment RadioFrame Networks' products within the wireless realm while increasing return on investment.
"RadioFrame Networks is widely viewed as an innovator in wireless infrastructure and has a history of strategic customer wins," said Garrett Choi, general manager of the Trillium business unit for Continuous Computing. "By using our Trillium protocol stacks and professional services, RadioFrame Networks can accelerate its time to market for its leading edge products."
