Media Alert: Continuous Computing Showcases Latest Developments To Enable Converged Communications At Spring VON

WHO:

Continuous Computing, www.ccpu.com

What:

Continuous Computing Corporation, global provider of Network Service-Ready Platforms that enable telecom equipment manufacturers to rapidly deploy converged communications, will be showcasing its latest developments at Spring VON next week. Featured items include an interactive 3G IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) sample scenario demonstration, the newly-released fourth-generation Trillium poster, and a white paper on the practical considerations of deploying IMS. Each item featured is part of the company's recent announcement regarding its ability to deliver "100% IMS" Trillium building blocks.

The 3G IMS interactive demonstration illustrates the wide range of platform-level functionality available with Continuous Computing's many product solutions, showing how straightforward it can be to deploy advanced features with AdvancedTCA and Trillium protocol software in a converged wireless and IP network.

The Trillium technology poster represents the most complete illustration of telecom network infrastructure that the company has ever published. Serving as evolving "world maps" for the telecommunications industry, the Trillium posters underscore Continuous Computing's depth and breadth of expertise in the industry. The poster will be distributed widely at the show.

The first white paper in the three-part series to be produced by Continuous Computing, "Transforming Network Architectures: An Integrated Approach to Jumpstarting Delivery of Next-Generation Services," sets the stage for an integrated approach to IMS from both business and technology points of view. In addition to offering a high-level overview, the piece contains pragmatic steps for getting started with the IMS integration process.

WHEN:

March 14-17, 2006

Where:

Spring VON 2006
Booth #1615
San Jose McEnery Convention Center
150 W. San Carlos Street
San Jose, California 95113 USA
(Between Almaden Boulevard and Market Street)

WHY:

A new climate of "Business Darwinism" is altering the telecom landscape drastically as old business models rapidly give way to faster, more agile and adaptable approaches for grabbing a bigger chunk of an increasingly competitive market. How will TEMs evolve their products to stay competitive? Some fundamental shifts already are underway with the early evolution of IMS. TEMs need to be prepared for the challenges their customers face in terms of improved time to market and lowered total cost of ownership.

Continuous Computing will show TEMs how to leverage time-tested and field-proven 3G Wireless and VoIP deployments to accelerate time to market, reduce project risk and complexity, and increase return on investment on impending IMS implementations.
