Continuous Computing Team Adds Respected Industry Veteran Chuck Hill
Joins Office of the CTO to Drive Innovation in Telecom Infrastructure
SAN DIEGO, CA - February 1, 2005 - Continuous Computing Corporation, global provider of high availability platform solutions that enable telecom equipment manufacturers to rapidly deploy converged communications, today announced that industry veteran Chuck Hill has joined the company as principal architect in the Office of the CTO. Mr. Hill is widely respected in the telecommunications infrastructure community both for his innovative work with system architecture on high availability and fault-tolerant platforms and his leadership role in the creation of Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture (AdvancedTCA) industry standards.
Mr. Hill brings 27 years of experience in state-of-the-art system design expertise to his new role at Continuous Computing. Mr. Hill will be a cornerstone of the team headed by Mike Coward, CTO and co-founder, and illustrates the investment that Continuous Computing is making to sustain its long-term leadership position in high availability platform solutions. Prior to joining Continuous Computing, Mr. Hill was instrumental in the development of system architecture for high availability and fault-tolerant telecom platforms while serving as system architect at Motorola Computer Group in Tempe, AZ. During his ten years with Motorola, Mr. Hill's key responsibilities included providing system architecture, performing product definition and development, introducing new technology, overseeing patent design and innovation, providing leadership in industry standards including AdvancedTCA and serving as technical liaison for customers and sales.
Mr. Hill has a BSEE from DeVry Institute of Technology, an MSEE in Engineering from Arizona State University and has completed coursework towards his MBA from Keller Graduate School.
