Continuous Computing Appoints Bob Wise as VP of Engineering

Mike Coward to assume full time CTO and strategy role

SAN DIEGO, CA - June 24, 2003 - San Diego, CA - Continuous Computing Corporation (CCPU), a leading provider of highavailability communications solutions for telecom equipment manufacturers, today announced that Bob Wise has agreed to join the executive team as VP of Engineering. Bob Wise brings over 15 years of communications product development and management experience to the CCPU team. As VP of Engineering, he will provide overall technology leadership to help CCPU deliver high quality platform solutions to telecom equipment manufacturers and will be responsible for management of the day to day engineering operations. CCPU also announced that Mike Coward will be assuming the full-time role of CTO to drive the company's product roadmap and strategy activity. "As a key visionary driving the adoption of Next Generation Networks, Bob brings multi-faceted experience to this role," said Ken Kalb, CEO , CCPU. "His technology expertise and industry-leading software development experience will be invaluable as we evolve our technology to deliver higher value-add solutions to a broader spectrum of customers."

Wise's background includes his most recent roles as VP Softswitch Development at Oresis Communications and CTO/SVP of Engineering at VSYS, an early pioneer in the soft-switch platform and VoIP technology market. In these roles, he actively contributed to all aspects of the product programs and was especially key in introducing industry-leading software development processes to ensure consistent and timely delivery of high quality software products and solutions.
