SAN DIEGO, CA - August 22, 2002 - Continuous Computing Corporation (CCPU), a leading provider of highavailability computing solutions for telecom equipment manufacturers, today announced that Continuous Computing has achieved ISO 9001:2000 registration.
CCPU's Quality Management System was reviewed, assessed, and registered by BSI, Inc., one of the leading and most respected ISO 9000 registrars in the world. "With this achievement," said Nancy Moffatt Kane, CCPU's Director of Quality, "CCPU has demonstrated its firm commitment to quality management and continual improvement, and CCPU's customers know that they can consistently expect the high quality and reliability that has always been a hallmark of the company's products and services."
"I'd like to extend congratulations to everyone on our team for this achievement," said Ken Kalb, CEO and Chairman. "ISO 9001:2000 registration tells our customers worldwide that CCPU can be relied upon to provide the quality products and services that the standards themselves were designed to promote."
ISO 9000 is a family of standards that describes the fundamentals of, and terminology for, quality management systems. These standards, developed by the International Organization of Standardization, serve to assist organizations to implement and operate systems that effectively facilitate mutual understanding in international trade. British Standards Institution, Inc. is an independent registrar accredited in the United States by the Registrar Accreditation Board to perform assessments and issue registrations to the ISO 9001:2000 and other ISO standards.
