Continuous Computing has announced VAS solutions that are pre-integrated and application-ready. They’re designed to allow network equipment providers to accelerate time to market for their enhanced wireless services such as Short Message Service (SMS), Caller ID, roaming, E911, ringback tones, and e-mail services, among others. By accelerating time to market by 12 to 24 months, Continuous Computing says its VAS solutions increase return on investment over the life of the project by up to 50 percent.
Consisting of a pre-integrated combination of Trillium protocols, standards-based line cards, and integrated management software that has already been tested and certified for rapid deployment, Continuous Computing’s VAS solutions enable customers to deliver smart services in 3G, GPRS (2.5G), and 2G networks faster and more cost-effectively than if the providers were to do it themselves, according to the company.
Continuous Computing’s VAS solutions are available in pre-integrated bundles as well as in source code along with professional services for building VAS applications or for lab trials, field trials, interoperability testing, feature enhancements, and technical assistance during services rollout.
