At the core of the system, GoAhead SAFfire high availability and management middleware helps developers of highly reliable systems build carrier-grade applications by supplying the most comprehensive, proven and integrated availability management software. The SAF-compliant middleware provides the framework to detect faults and manage failover to ensure continuity of service.

Essential Services

Essential Services platform configuration and management software simplifies the management of the hardware platform and includes a series of web-based configuration and commissioning tools for initial system provisioning and run-time management. It also provides a standard Hardware Platform Interface (HPI) for integration with the middleware.

Layer 2 High Availability

L2HA switching software delivers the underlying mechanisms to ensure that continual service can be provided in the event of a link or switch failure. It monitors and manages drivers and switching for the base and fabric interfaces, as well as provides for a low-latency failover when a fault is detected.
