Event Description

The IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) has the potential to transform telecommunications, allowing service providers to achieve both higher customer ARPU and lower churn, while at the same time cutting network capex and opex.

The year 2006 will be critical for IMS. Although there are many trial networks in operation, there are only a few commercial IMS implementations, mostly small. In 2006, that is set to change as both fixed and mobile operators begin this key transition.

On Thursday, December 8, 2005, in London, Light Reading and its market research division, Heavy Reading, hosted an exclusive one-day conference — IMS: Blueprint for an Applications Revolution. Employing original research by Heavy Reading analysts, we’ll provide an exclusive and intensive education in how to best achieve IMS goals.
