CN (Shenzhen) Director, China Manufacturing Operations
Job Responsibilities
- The China Director of Manufacturing Operations, will manage our Shenzhen-based manufacturing operations team. This position will oversee the manufacturing aspects of new product introduction; the china based supply chain, the Shenzhen system integration facility and quality department. This position will report to our Vice President of Manufacturing Operations based out of San Diego.
Responsibility
- Management of the key manufacturing functional groups based Shenzhen, China. This includes supply chain, NPI, quality, manufacturing engineering, system integration and customer returns.
- As a senior member of the CCPU Shenzhen management team, must work with the other functional department leads to create a strong, healthy, team orientated organization consistent with CCPU corporate culture and policies.
Experience Requirements
- 15 or more years of experience as a manufacturing operations professional with at least 10 of those having been in management. Ideally at least 3 years experience in China and a minimum of 2 years experience of working in the United States within the last 10 years.
- Must be a strong team player and willing to help work cross functional issues between engineering, product marketing, program management, finance, HR and sales.
- Experiences in working with team members based in Europe and the US is a plus.
- Must be able to work at a high and low level. The position requires someone who is flexible and will do whatever it takes to get the job done.
- A background in china customs and logistics is a strong plus.
- Ability to travel internationally for a 2 to 3 week period at least 3 to 4 times per year.
- BS in or Business, Engineering, or related.
- Fluent English and Mandarin (read, write, speak).
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing others. Must be strong at mentoring and developing a management team.
- Must have experiences working in a company of fewer than 300 people.
- Must be willing to relocate to Shenzhen, China.
