CN (Shenzhen) Quality Manager
Position Description
- Responsible for all aspects of product Quality, Technical, Logistic related issues.
- Define quality metrics to monitor products/manufacturing processes quality in China Contract Manufacturer.
- Aid the Quality Director in Global ISO 9001 creation, maintenance, improvement, and coordination.
- Participate in new Avanex product qualification in China Contract Manufacturers.
- Lead the failure analysis activity and corrective action on defective products.
- Participate in customer visit.
- Develop QA project plan, monitor schedules and manage QA resources to ensure product quality at the time of release within planned schedule.
- Work closely with hardware development engineers/managers and product management to understand product requirements and specification for developing appropriate test plans and test cases.
- Review hardware-related customer documents, such as hardware user guide, application notes, release notes, etc.
- Continue to build QA team with recruiting and hiring of QA engineers, and conducting performance reviews of team members.
- Participate in technical architecture discussions and design reviews.
Experience and Skills
- BS Degree, 5+ years experience of managing QA team in fast-paced environments with a team of at least 6 QA engineers.
- ISO 9001 implementation experience.
- Expert level knowledge of experience in the PCB, semiconductor, or related industry.
- Excellent English skills including oral Engligh and writing.
- Supplier experience.
- Qualifications - nice to have.
- Internal Auditing experience.
- Corrective Action experience (8D or similar).
- Documentation experience.
- Warehouse / shipping / receiving process experience.
