CN (Shenzhen) RMA / Debug Engineer

Job Description

Evaluate the functionality of telecommunications systems and circuit cards returned from customers for failure analysis.
Troubleshoot the system to the subassembly level and determine the need for either repair or replacement.
Troubleshoot the circuit to the component level and repair.
Test and configure repaired systems and circuit cards to ensure proper functionality.
Clearly document fault analysis and resolution.
Work with design engineering when necessary to identify design flaws, implement new configurations or features, and to resolve root cause failure modes.

BS Engineering degree strongly preferred; Associate degree or equivalent experience will be considered.
5+ years experience in testing computer/data networking/telecom systems and subassemblies.
Experience with Linux, Solaris, or UNIX based systems.
Experience with Ethernet switches, network cards and processors.
Thorough understanding of computer systems architecture.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer service, and people skills.
Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and meet the expectations of customers on tight deadlines.
Compact PCI, ATCA, Data Networking and Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
Scripting and programming experience, preferably using Expect, Python, and bash.
Test Plan and Test Procedure writing experience preferred.
