Job Description
- Responsible for planning, scheduling and monitoring the movement of material through the production cycle. Uses professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a variety of problems.
- Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
- Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
- Develops specifications for new contract orders.
- Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Builds productive working relationships internally and externally.
- Order entry and updates in MRP system, track progress of orders, communicate status with customers and prepare shipping documents (mainly with Asian and European customers).
- Performs other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English.
- PC proficient, including strong knowledge of PeopleSoft, Microsoft Word & Excel, Meeting Maker.
