Click to request a PDFEasy to deploy and maintain, the SH61’s 40G-enabled fabric interface supports 10-40G capacity-type DPI solutions for fixed, mobile and enterprise networks. Example applications include: network security, QoS, tiered services, traffic engineering, admission and authentication and session-based billing.

As more complex DPI applications continue to evolve, so do the requirements for larger and faster packet processing technology. The SH61’s high-capacity dual redundant fan trays are designed to support next generation compute and packet processing speeds, exceeding CP-TA B.4 thermal requirements.

AdvancedTCA (ATCA) LogoThe SH61 supports either AC or DC power options without the need of adding a stand-alone 1U AC module. This combined support gives NEPs the flexibility to seamlessly meet customer orders while limiting inventory and other costs associated with managing large pieces of equipment. The AC power supply unit (PSU) or the DC power entry module (PEM) has enough power to supply a fully-loaded SH61.

Ensuring “five nines” availability, the SH61 features redundant power, shelf management and cooling. All shelf assemblies are designed using Field-Replaceable Units (FRUs).

When integrated with Continuous Computing’s FlexCore ATCA-FM40, FlexPacket ATCA-PP50, FlexCompute ATCA-XE60 or XE50 and optimized with Trillium control/data plane protocol software plus professional services, the SH61 empowers NEPs to deploy ATCA in high-volume, space-constrained environments.
