The FlexChassis ATCA-SH141 is a high-profile 13U, 14-slot platform ideal for the core network effectively addressing central office capacity, availability and environmental requirements. When integrated with Continuous Computing’s 40G or 10G compute, switch and packet processing blades such as the FlexCore ATCA-FM81, FlexPacket ATCA-PP81, FlexCompute ATCA-XE80, and Trillium control/data plane protocol software, the SH141 supports core network requirements for DPI, Security, LTE / 3G Wireless and Femtocell Gateway applications.
Easy to deploy and maintain, the SH141’s 40G-enabled fabric interface supports 10G – 40G capacity-type solutions for fixed, mobile and enterprise networks. Example applications include: MME & SGW, GGSN & SGSN, Internet offload, network security, QoS, tiered services, traffic engineering, admission and authentication and session-based billing.
As more complex next generation telecommunication applications continue to evolve, so do the requirements for larger and faster multi-core processing technology. The SH141’s high-capacity redundant fan trays are designed to support next generation compute and packet processing speeds by supporting cooling for 300W.
The SH141 supports either AC or DC power options in a single form factor. This combined support gives NEPs the flexibility to seamlessly meet customer orders while limiting inventory and other costs associated with managing large pieces of equipment.
